one. It was so fun to see all the responses to my different header options. Pat and I test-drove the headers on the actual blog and I was really torn. Each header gives such a different look. What to choose, what to choose! As of last night, I decided on the one that I want! I’m going to wait to share it with everyone until the whole blog redesign is done… that way you can see the full picture. From here, I’m waiting on additional buttons and other details that go with the look of the header and then we’ll put it all together. I’m so excited!

two. I decided to give Instagram a try and I’ve started to really, really enjoy it. As of now, it’s my favorite social media outlet. I’m always snapping photos of different things that the kids and I are up to (like, the photo above), and it’s quick and easy to post them with a short caption! If you want to follow, you can find me here.

three. For all you other gardening enthusiasts and wannabes, this blog is awesome.

four. I’ve been dabbling in some homeschooling preschool activities with Gianna, and it’s been a lot of fun! We’re just doing a little here and there at this point, she still has 3 more years (thank goodness, I think I’m going to cry when she starts kindergarten!!!) so we have a lot of time. A friend picked up this book for me at the library, and it was sooo helpful (thanks again Maggie!). It has tons and tons of activities and just general advice for what’s helpful at the preschool age.

five. I went a little crazy in the kitchen yesterday. Somehow I managed to make pesto, hummus, and granola, all with two very fussy kids. I was very proud of myself and am looking forward to yogurt parfaits with the granola!

I’m excited to see your redesigned site! Also, Instagram is good. I was reluctant at first and took a while to get into it, but since I got the hang of it, it’s been fun.

What do you think?
